It was a satisfactory day at the Emirates as the hosts fought a convincing win over Wigan athletic.The new skipper invented the goal on the 16 th minute which was spearheaded by the
young arsenal's star striker emanuel Adabayor.Though it was the only goal for the whole match Arsenal played their passes in a good form.Passes were neat and more attractive was their coordination.Wigan had certain chances but they weren't able to convert them out of arsenal's defence.Manager Arsene wenger was an happy man at the finis but he has a long way ahead to go to claim the Barclay's Cup.Hope Arsenal maintains its consistency from now which this young team has been lacking in the mere past.
